Abstract |
: |
The Public Administration in an Islamic country, like any other
aspect of life, cannot be isolated from the Islamic Religion. But such a strong
relationship does not prevent this Islamic Public Administration benefiting
from others’ experience as long as it does not contradict the Islamic thoughts
and principles. Based on that, the goals of this study are :
1. To provide a uniqe definition for Public Administration from the Islamic
view.
2. To present the evolution of the Islamic Public Administration.
3. To determine the tasks of Islamic Public Administration.
The study defines Islamic Public Administration as the complete devotion of
intention, talks, and deeds among governmental employees bureaus to the
orders of ALLAH in utilizing the human, material, and technical resources in
an ideal and accepted means through planning, organizing, and other
administrative functions in order to serve the public and achieve public goals
that are compatible with the five Islamic law-shaped principles. Namely,
maintaining religion, life, mind, offspring, and wealth so that all its work is a
sort of worshipping ALLAH, the Almighty.
The study also indicates that the Islamic Public Administration has been
established since the immigration of Prophet Muhammed, peace and grace of
ALLAH be upon him, from Makkah to Medina in order to convey Islam and
apply it on every aspect of life.
Finally, the study determines the Islamic Public Administration tasks which
include the following: participating in conveying Islamic religion, applying the
law of Islamic Shariah, administering public agencies in the Islamic state,
achieving the comprehensive Islamic development, and maintaining the
internal and the external safety of the Islamic state. |
