Abstract : This survey study explored the use of information sources in private sector companies in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It found that information about the performance of the company as well as surrounding political, regulative, economic, and financial changing were highly sought after by members of the administration. It clarified that institution archives, individual contacts, colleagues and consultants are the main sources of this information. The results of the study showed that whenever the administration member has a higher educational level, his appreciation and use of information increases.
