مهاجرات الحبشة بلاء وتضحية وفوزًا (القسم الثاني من المهاجرين)

Document Language : Arabic
Abstract : This paper is concerned with the biographies of twelve female companions of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) who immigrated from Makkah to Abyssinia for the sake of their religion, Islam. They exemplified glorious and ideal models of patience and sincerity even after the grand immigration of the Prophet and his companions to Al-Madinah. Those twelve females spent several years in Abyssinia under the leadership of Jaa’far Ibn Abi Talib, the relative of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). The paper focuses on the lives of those female immigrants and their distinguished role which gave each of them the honour of being called “The Female Abyssinian” or “Al-Habashiyah”. The paper also hints to the role of women in Islam and their success in getting dignity and honour in this life and in what they will certainly gain of the great reward in the hereafter.
