Abstract : The main objective of this study is to investigate the views of faculty members of Public Administration Departments at King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah and King Saud University, Riyadh on using Case Studies as a complementary tool in teaching Public Administration. To achieve this, 47 questionnaires (which represent the population of this study) have been distributed at both departments. The response rate of return is about 89.3%. Results of this study can be summarized as follow: strong agreement among the respondents of the importance of using Case Studies even though that they are not using them in all courses; the majority of the respondents have the desire and the capability to use Case Studies in teaching but facing difficulties in finding good Case Studies in addition to the non supportive organizational and academic setting; the majority respondents of Public Administration Department at King Saud University view that Western based Case Studies are not useful in teaching at their department while the majority respondents of public Administration Department at King Abdulaziz University appreciate its usefulness. Based on the findings, the study ended with some recommendations.
