Abstract : Job satisfaction is one of the important factors which affect working members to maintain efficiency in doing their job . Because of the importance of this factor in the working process, serious efforts have been geared towards understanding the influence of this factor in accomplishing jobs . This study aimed to identify the present status of job satisfaction at "Zarka Private University" working members . The population of the study consisted of (137) officials out of the total (172) which represents all working members in the University . A total of (83 , 60%) members participated in this study including members of the teaching staff . A questionnaire which was developed by the researchers , as the main instrument for data collection, consisted of two parts ; the job satisfaction in general and personal information . A one-way analysis of variance, means, frequencies and percentages were employed to analyze the data. The level of significance was set at a level of (a<0.05) for each of the study variables . The results showed that there were no significant differences in professional experience and education . The source of major satisfaction for working members was in the areas of relations with the supervisors at work, responsibility and performance, fringe benefits, security and, the source of the least satisfaction was with regard to salary . human relations and , respect .
