Abstract : Mining investment is considered as one of the important economic factors as it causes industrial development and welfare for any state. Mining investment is characterized by uncertainty in the long term markets, it can generally by considered as a high risk industry with relatively high capital demands in a highly competitive market. In spite of the fact that the reasons which make Egypt and the Arab countries a good environment for mining investment are Available, we need more work to effect the investment environment in Egypt and Arab countries to make them more attractive for the local and foreign investors by making available an encouraging atmosphere of mining investment and to make systems and procedures more transparent and clear and make available securities and protection for investments. So most of the Arab countries and Egypt turned to modernize their mining legislations as well as development of environment protection statutes to create the suitable investment environment for their mining sector.
