Abstract : The principal aim of this study is to analyze the function of Organization and Methods (O&M) in the Jordanian enterprises in both public and private sectors. The study includes (141) organizations in both sectors. Data were collected by means of questionnaires distributed to all organizations included in this study. Major findings of this study include: 1) More efforts and attention are needed in the field of Organization and Methods in Jordanian public as well as private organizations. 2) Positive impact of (O&M) activities in Jordanian enterprises. Employees morale and level of services rendered by surveyed organizations are positively affected by (O&M) activities. 3) The majority of surveyed organizations takes advantage of (O&M) studies. Major recommendations of this study included: 1) Encouragement of further studies in the field of (O&M). 2) Professionalization of (O&M) through establishing legal and ethical standards. 3) Follow-up studies in this area and persing their findings. 4) Relating (O&M) activities into motivation and control systems.
