Abstract : The objective of this study is to explore the impact of Jordanian children on some of the family purchasing decision. The study sample consisted of 306 mothers. It has been selected from the various Jordanian cities and towns, according to certain conditions set for this study. The study showed the following results: First, children of married mothers have attempted more frequently to influence some of the family purchasing decision than those of divorced mothers. Second, married mothers seem to yield more to their children's attempts or requests to influence some of the family purchasing decisions than divorced Mothers. Third, The older children (13-16 years old) of divorced Mothers have attempted more frequently to influence some of that family purchasing decisions than those of married mothers. Finally, married mothers Seem to yield more to their older children's (13-16 year old) attempts or requests to influence some of the family purchasing decisions than divorced mothers.
