Abstract : This study deals with the concept of "Judgement" in so far as its strict technical meaning and the application there of in the Judicial System of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study is divided into Two Chapters: The first chapter deals with the definition of Judgement and its main elements. Judgement is technically defined as "a decision issued by a competent Judicial body in the form prescribed by the law, and delivered in an open session. The second chapter examines in detail the Saudi Judicial System to find out which legal bodies issue decisions that can be considered as "Judgement" from the correct legal point of view. The study has concluded that only Sharia Courts issue "Judgement" in precisely technical terms. Decisions issued by other Semi-Judicial bodies existing in the Saudi Judicial System are found not to be "Judgement" in strict technical sense. For that reason the study supported by article 26 of the Judicial System of 1395 A.H., suggest creating real legal courts instead of such bodies.
