Abstract : This study examined how the Saudi industrial firms took their responsibility to protect the environment from pollution and the strategies applied to protect their activities from any future environmellt pollution. Three objectivs have been adopted; the first objective was to test the concept of protection of the environment from pollution and the second objective criteria which have has been adopted to measure their performance. FinallY,the firms stratagies were to co-ordinate the collective effort to protect the environment with other firms. The study found that there was lack of effort to protect the environment from pollution and there was no future plan to protect the environment from pollution.The study recommended strategies to take care of the future of (he environment.
