The Scientific Publishing Center (SPC) has concluded an agreement with the Knowledge World Center (KWC) in Jordan; that administer the digital content in the Arab World through an Arab Electronic Database that embraces the intellectual output like the referred journals and theses issued in the Arab world. According to this agreement, the Knowledge World Center will electronically publish the article full texts of all ten subtitles of the Journal of King Abdulaziz University (JKAU), which are: Economics and Administration, Arts and Humanities, Science; Medical Sciences; Engineering Sciences; Earth Sciences; Marine Sciences; Meteorology, Environment and Arid Land Agricultural Sciences, Islamic Economics. HE the Dean of Library Affairs and Director of Scientific Publishing Center, Prof. Abdulrashid A. Hafez, has signed the Agreement on behalf of the University; while HE the Director of Knowledge World Center; Dr. Sami Alkhizidar has countersigned it on behalf of KWC.
This agreement comes as part of the SPC efforts for exposing the University intellectual output and research activity in the international arena; when a cooperative agreement with EBSCO has been concluded, last month, for exposing the contents of the ten subtitles of the Journal of King Abdulaziz University at:

which is considered one of the most prominent databases internationally, and a very important information source for a number of academic and research institutions; which avails its services for millions of End-users; in addition to its ability to provide indexing services capable of harvesting metadata from internal and external source; and hence creating a pre-indexing central service, with a large volume.
The University President has valued the SPC efforts, and mentioned in a letter received by the Center, that the conclusion of these agreements represents a quality shift for advancing the researches of the University Staff Members and the University Journal activity and the extent of its visibility. He also pointed out the importance of shedding light on these steps by the media.
From his side, HE the SPC Director, Prof. Abdulrashid A. Hafez, has expressed his delight, with this great achievement, that reflects the excellence of the researches published at JKAU. He deduced this form the international institutions endeavour to deposit the contents of JKAU in their databases. Prof Hafez also expressed his thanks to HE the University President, Prof.Usama Sadiq Tayyeb; and HE the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research; Prof. Adnan Hamza Zahed; for their active follow-up of the Center activities and their supports for its efforts.
