Abstract : Recently the term virtual world has become popular, or Second Life as sometimes called and several published books and articles have been there to explain the meaning by the term, and the nature of what is going on in it, and what can be exercised of different activities when someone enters into the world, as well as representation of the various bodies and institutions and their presence in this virtual world. Despite the multiplicity of the English-language literature on the subject, but it did not receive adequate treatment in Arabic. Perhaps because of the novelty of the topic, or perhaps because the representation of Arab institutions and entities in the virtual world did not gain decent share in comparison with foreign counterparts. In these pages we try to shed light on the concept of "Second Life", and information services provided. Translated by team
